Director of the Legal Clinic Program – Syrian Association for Studies and Consultations

Duration: One year, from 01/12/2021 to 30/11/2022

About the Association: **

An independent, non-governmental association that seeks to spread awareness, provide advice, and promote the rule of law to reach free democratic society in which justice and equality prevail

The Director of the Legal Clinic Program shall perform the following tasks:

Determining the objectives of the program according to the strategic goals of the association

Plan the program from start to finish, taking into account deadlines

Propose evaluation strategies to monitor performance and identify methods and methods for improvement

Continuous evaluation of the program and the overall workflow, including setting achievable goals and overseeing budget matters

Oversee specific projects to provide feedback and solve complex problems

Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies

Communicate with the CEO and submit detailed reports periodically

Apply the principles of quality, risk, and management of available resources

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in law or related field

Experience in managing programs

At least two years experience in NGOs

Excellent communication skills

Fluent in Arabic and English

Legal experience in the field of law as a lawyer for at least fifteen years

Mastering Microsoft Office computer programs
